The next Hollywood, Health & Society signature Storybus Tour for writers and producers will be Oct. 25 to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.
What goes on behind the scenes at NASA? Our trip to JPL includes an exclusive private tour, with VIP access unavailable to the general public. Discover how climate change is affecting real people and places, watch a 3-D film titled “Earth: Your Future; Our Mission” and see in real-time an armada of NASA satellites explore the planet’s vital signs. You’ll meet some of JPL’s amazing engineers and visual artists, and experience unique installations that illustrate the science behind the space missions.
This full day of activities offers writers and producers a chance to be inspired and informed when it comes to crafting realistic, compelling drama.
The tour will leave the Writers Guild of America, West at 9 a.m. and return around 4:30 p.m. Space is limited, and registration closes Oct. 5.
